A Flavored Life creates new products with vintage and everyday linens. From aprons to scarves to pedi-bags, Janice and Jenise are a mother and daughter team that love to bring new life to forgotten items and find inspiration from a lifetime of experiences. Janice learned how to sew in the mill factories of New England and has lived around the world from the Bahamas to the Sultanate of Oman. Jenise is a marketing manager by day and brings a graphic touch their creations. Together, like any good family recipe, they make memorable, one-of-a-kind designs to be cherished for generations.

What’s the #1 played song on your iPod? Slow Like Honey by Fiona Apple

What is one of your favorite quotes, song lyrics or Bible verses? Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. – Marianne Williamson

Besides crafting, what other things do you like to do? Cooking! Playing Angry Birds. Relaxing with family. Reading. Dancing.
