We’ve decided to do our popular “Spread the Word GIVEAWAY” again, but this time we’ve upped the ante. We’re going to give away TWO $20 gift certificates to be used at the Homespun Chic Holiday Marketplace! Of course, you’ll need to spend it on December 4, but with so many incredible vendors, that won’t be hard to do! How do you enter to win? It’s simple…

All you have to do is SPREAD the WORD!
Lots of ways to do it: Facebook, Twitter, Blog, Email, Passing Out Fliers, Skywriting, Smoke Signals… 🙂

Come back and comment each time you:

  • Write a blog post about the Marketplace. Include important info: times, dates, place. Include a link to either our Facebook Fan Page or our Website.
  • Write about the Marketplace in your Facebook status.

  • Get the December 4 Marketplace mentioned/featured in a local printed publication, church bulletin, neighborhood newsletter, etc. Snap a quick picture of it and leave a comment here letting us know!

Holiday 2011 Marketplace :: December 4

Alright! Several of our vendors asked us about doing another Homespun Chic Marketplace before the end of the year, so we decided to make it happen. It’s official! We’ve booked a venue for our first-ever holiday marketplace.

The 2011 Holiday Marketplace will include approximately 27 vendors and feature some of the best handmade retail that Central Florida has to offer. The event will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 2:30pm to 6pm at Redeemer Church in the Windermere area. The Marketplace will be held rain or shine.

If you’re interested in being a vendor, please contact us or leave a comment here with your email address. We’ll be happy to email you the details, instructions, etc as well as a layout of the building and porch. As spots are paid for, approved and taken, we will designate that appropriately on the map.

Previous vendors will benefit from a lower rate for space. New vendors will pay a higher rate for their first show with us and will also need to submit 3 photos of their work to a review panel.

All reservations will be considered in the order they are received–first applied, first approved, first paid. Although previous vendors will not need to be considered by the review panel, they will not receive preference over new vendors. Space will be filled on a first applied, first approved, first paid basis.

Other fun tidbits:

  • Once again, we’ll offer a way for folks to win gift certificates to be spent at the Marketplace. Details will be posted right here on our site.
  • We are working to secure three or four of Central Florida’s popular food trucks to sell yummy treats just outside the venue. We’ll announce those as they confirm with us.
  • Based on feedback from previous vendors, we’re going to try something different with the non-profit beneficiary this time. Read the document for all the details.

Today’s Homespun Chic Marketplace

We’re not going to let this rain ruin our fun! The event will go on as planned. Most of our vendors are indoors and we’ve got a handful outside on the covered porch. If you’ve been in Central Florida the last couple of days, you know you’re ready to get out of your house. So come see our 28 vendors and all of their amazing handmade goods. We hear some of them also made yummy treats to share–cookies, cake balls, cupcakes. And, don’t forget…Sunset Ice will be there with their Italian ice! See you there!

The Fall 2011 Marketplace will include approximately 27 vendors and feature some of the best handmade retail that Central Florida has to offer. The event will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2011 from 2:30pm to 6pm. The Marketplace will be held rain or shine. Not familiar with the building? Go check out the Facebook fan page for a picture. It’s beautiful and it will be perfect!
