Holiday 2012 Vendor Feature: AUTUMN & EVERYTHING AFTER
Autumn & Everything After
shop
Kasey is the creative brain behind Autumn & Everything After. You may have heard of people refer to her as “The Burlap Lady.” All of her items are great for accessorizing any home, office, party or fun-loving girl! She creates fun, one-of-a-kind accessories for all seasons, event and occasions. From hand-painted banners and burlap pillows to chic tote bags and yarn wreaths, you are sure to find something to love.
Autumn & Everything After officially started when Kasey began posting pictures of her personal seasonal home decor on Facebook. Her friends (and their friends) fell in love and asked her how much she was selling the beauties for. With much coercion from her friends, she opened her Etsy shop. Autumn & Everything After has been featured at all five Homespun Chic Marketplace events and she’s looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, December 9.

What is one of your favorite quotes, song lyrics or Bible verses? “Learn the scripture, love the author, live and die for both.”
What’s your favorite crafting snack? Popcorn & M&M’s with a Diet Coke.
Besides crafting, what other things do you like to do? I am a huge fan of blogs, however I, myself am not a blogger. My favorite day is Thursday because that is when one of my all time favorite blogs (www.theshabbycreekcottage.com) has a linky party. I love seeing what other projects fellow “crafters” are working on. I also admit I have a slight obsession with Pinterest.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? I would like to learn how to do graphic design and maybe take a course in Adobe Illustrator.
If you had to only work on one project for the next year, what would it be? I’d love to finish my gallery wall in my house…I have it all “pinned out”…I just need to make it happen. I’d also like to make a pendant light made out of burlap.
What are you most looking forward to about the Homespun Chic Holiday Marketplace? Meeting other vendors and checking out all the other great items that will be showcased this year. I am also looking forward to another new venue.
What’s your favorite Central Florida attraction/landmark/sight? Does Hobby Lobby count?
What’s something you’ve done that you think no other vendor has done? I have painted an entire wall in my home office with black chalkboard paint. I thought, I will either love it or hate it. If I love it then its worth the leap, if I hate it, its nothing that 10 coats of primer can’t fix.

It was sooo exciting, like vacationing all year long. I’m a former Flight Attendant who worked for the new Pan Am Airways.

We are two sisters, born and raised in the Sunshine State. We love our God, our family and our home state. 🙂 We hope you find something that makes you smile and think of sun-filled days! Our items are great as fun, affordable gifts for family, friends, kids, coworkers, teachers, coaches…or heck, even yourself!
We opened our shop almost four years ago after Kati (the sewer) made Amy (the computer girl) a coffee cozy for her birthday. Amy said, “I love these! We could sell them!” And the rest, as they say, is history. Since then, we’ve developed new products and have expanded beyond the coffee cozy. In addition to our first item, we now create gadget cozies, bean bags, onesies, shirts, hair clips and headbands. And, see those super cute kitchen towels on the left? That’s our newest product–Florida Love towels! They’ll be making their debut at Sunday’s Homespun Chic Holiday Marketplace! Oh…and you’ll want to stop by and see us Sunday…we’re conjuring up a buy one, get one free on some of our most loved items!
We’ve participated in Homespun Chic Marketplace since the first show in 2010 and we’re now coordinating the event. We’re excited to see you there and look forward to meeting everyone!

Holiday 2012 Vendor Feature: SWEET SERAPHINA
Sweet Seraphina
shop | facebook
As a kid, my little hands and mind were always busy. You could often find me in my room cutting butterflies and ladybugs out of cardboard and painting them, or creating collages and gluing them to walls, tables, doors, or anything else that stood still.
Things aren’t much different now. My hands are always busy and it kills me to sit still most of the time. I love creating things that bring a smile to people’s faces or just make the world a bit prettier. I love making things for children because it is a genre of retail that everyone always seem to be so happy in, whether they are buying for their own children or for a friend’s.
Sweet Seraphina was created in 2010 and I can’t wait to see how far she goes! You can find Sweet Seraphina creations in Tugboat & the Bird in Winter Park, FL and probably hundreds of babies and kids around the world!
Get To Know Lindsay of Sweet Seraphina
What’s the #1 played song on your iPod? Ellie Goulding – “Anything Could Happen”. Love her!
If you had to only work on one project for the next year, what would it be? Probably children’s headbands. Kinda obsessed with them at the moment. Next month it will probably be a new obsession!
What’s your favorite crafting snack? Probably some sort of cereal w/ milk. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten this breakfast food at breakfast time. It’s usually a 3am snack.
What’s something you’ve done that you think no other vendor has done? I think my versatility is something different. From graphic design of onesie stickers to feather headbands or bibs, I liked to always try something new and different to keep myself motivated and creative.
